According to the raw materials of bottle cap:
It can be divided into PE cover and PP cover; PE (polyethylene): density is 0.94-0.96g/cm3, processing temperature is about 220 ℃; relative to PP, single cover is more commonly used.
PE can be divided into three categories: high pressure low density polyethylene (LDPE), high density polyethylene (HDPE) and linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE). Generally, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) is used as bottle cap material.
PP: density 0.9-0.91 g / cm3, processing temperature about 220 ℃;
Comparison: ⑴ the density of PP is smaller than that of PE, and the strength, rigidity, hardness and heat resistance of PP are better than that of PE, which can be used at about 100 ℃; ⑵ because PE is softer than PP, PE material is usually used as a single cover; ⑶ the price of PE and PP material is close, which can be used for food packaging.
